The waiting game of life...isn't that all part of life? I am saying yes. Here is what we know thus far.........
Our "buyers" are no more qualified for a loan that the high school boy next door! Yes, you read that correctly. We have had a contract for two and a half months with these people. It is a VERY, VERY long story but comes down to this. Both the buyers and the mortgage company are at fault for this taking so long. People have drug their feet and laws have been violated..yes, you just read that correctly! Oh, not buy us either. We had all of our stuff done within two weeks. If it wasn't for Dean lighting a fire under some asses (sorry if i just offended anyone, but that is the best way to put it), I believe we would still just be sitting "waiting" for this loan process to take its slow and unorganized time. However, the manager of the mortgage company, now assures us that we will know by Wednesday if these people are approved or not. I am hoping that will happen! Prayers that they are approved and we can sell this house!!
As for the houses situation....both our house and the house we want to buy in Rowlett have gone back on the market. Anybody want to buy a house in Guthrie, OK? We have told the buyers that if they are approved and there are no other offers on our house, we will sell it to them. The same goes for us and the gentleman selling the house we want to buy. he told us that if he doesn't have a contract on the house and our buyers are actually approved, he will enter back into a contract with us.
Now we are at the point where we just need to sell our house. School will be starting soon and I want to start subbing so I can work my way into some schools. There is also the money thing....that is a whole other blog that I won't bother you all with!
Over the last few days I have come to a conclusion about this whole thing. This is happening to us but it is not happening for us. We are players in someone else's life learning lesson. Dean and I already know that we can weather any storm that God and the Devil throw our way. That past 14 months have proven that. God has put us in this situation because we are strong and have the best family and friends that support and love us. Not everyone has that. So, as inconvenient and hard this is for us, someone else is learning alot more than we are. As the sayings go; "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" and "This to shall pass."......this to shall pass, we will get through this and only be stronger!
Let you know where we are next week!
